Premier League backing Rainbow Laces campaign as all 20 clubs agree to show support for LGBT fans
The Premier League is taking part in the Rainbow Laces campaign
All clubs are supporting the inititiative created by LGBT charity Stonewall
Every fixture this weekend will be opened with a giant Rainbow Laces flag
This is not the first time the best football league in the World is showing support for the LGBT community. Many clubs also changed their social media profile pictures with the LGBT flag.
Maybe one of the footballers will finally come out...
I remember the niece of one of the first gay premier league footballers said she knows of 7 gay premier league footballers who are currently playing, out to their friends and family to varying degrees, who are closeted publicly.
It would be great to have some role models for young gay sportspeople.
