I am asian, and most of my irl friends are asian too but none of them cares that much about kpop or jpop. There's one who's a casual fan tho.

Yeah, they are obviously the new 2NE1. Poor other girls that trained with BP and were literally thrown out of the group just because YG changed his plans.

Prob not, those types of things tend to be filled with very...questionable members.

Like there's probably gonna be at least 4 white people that think they can get into YG as trainees.

YG realised SNSD were no longer competition, it was red velvet that became the standard.

There's another video from last year of the same cover but with the (then) new lineup Almost like they were trying to erase the best lineup's existence.

Jiyeon from T-ARA once said that she didn't become a singer to sing like 5 seconds. Sooyoung from SNSD complained that she wakes up @ 5(?)am to sing 5 words.
They don't like it if they feel like they are more than capable to sing at least 2-3 lines per song.

Though there are exceptions like Dahyun who I love but she should be happy she's getting SOME lines.
