Hello my name is Allure and I have something to say..
I joined this competition to prove I'm not the "weak bitch" Citrus said I was in season one, 'cause I'm still here and haven't quit. I was even able to win a challenge doing something I love in a season full of semi-strong queens.. So even if I leave this round not many queens can say they have a win.
And not everyone can be a comedian. I knew I'd flop in a comedy challenge, but I tried to bring my own terrible humor into it and I guess I'm too straight for you guys.. and I know it may seem like I don't care, but I do.. I'm taking every critique into consideration.. and I'm trying my hardest during these types of challenges. My humor just needs some lube and I know how you gays love to use that stuff.
Y'know me and my brother used to go ice-fishing..
So know this.. I'm working to improve like Chanel in season one. Know I have the fight like Koko in every season she's been in. Know that I can be Joslyn Fox if you want me to be. Know I'm open to sucking a dick to get by like Nina or MoonChild in season three. -sigh- As the most active queen in the thread, like it or not, I help keep the thread moving.. So there's another reason to give me a chance, and give me another chance, because I'm Allure and you can see me as you want to see me, in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions, but what I've found out, is that I'm every woman.

Sitting here reading the judges critiques over and over and then reading my entry, I get it. I guess it seemed funnier in my head than when I typed it out. It is tough to convey emotion & dialect through written word.
I also find it hard to be up against one of the Queens I'd consider a friend in this competition. The bitch has always made me laugh & has always been good to me in the competition & outside of the competition.
I could do all kinds of gimmicks and plaster moments from epic LSFYL's from the show in here to make it flashy but I don't want to take away from what I'm saying.
I have been putting a lot of effort in every week mostly because I feel like I don't have any cliques but also because the judges have pushed me to try harder. While my drawings have been easy targets for the judges, I have tried to up my game on them. I feel my runways are genuine 'Nellie' rather than other people's ideas photoshopped together to make a look. Mine is a complete idea a draw from scratch.
Whether you decide to keep me or have me leave this week, Chanel, I'll respect your decision. But damn it, I have fun doing each challenge and I want to stay!
