I remember seeing another picture of this guy earlier on in the trial, and he wasn't as shockingly scary/ugly as the picture posted in this thread. Not attractive - at all - but still. The lesson here for any young gays who are going to meet men they don't know via apps like Grindr, is that whatever you do, don't take a drink from someone you don't know if you haven't seen them prepare it.
Cuz of the levels of misdirection (re: the police investigation) and calculation shown by this deranged murderer, he should get a life sentence and his right to appeal snatched tbh.
How sad for the victims. This is why it's important to go with your gut instinct when meeting complete strangers, or if possible avoid meeting complete strangers in secluded places all together. I doubt the victims ever thought that they would get murdered and raped for simply trying to meet random people for sex, and I doubt many of you who use hook-up apps/websites think the same. My point is nobody is immune to tragedy, stuff like this can happen to you. If your using apps like Grindr, then be safe and assume that every person has HIV or that every person can potentially be like this guy and protect yourself.
