She broke many records today:

- Both original shows (23/25 March) sold out within 23 minutes, a record.
- Highest number of tickets sold in NZ in one day.
- Fastest-selling tour ever in NZ.
- Most number of shows performed by any artist on one tour at Mt. Smart Stadium with 3.

An NZ industry insider estimates that, because there are three shows, Adele could break the record for any single paid event in Auckland history. And according to that insider, the only one he could think of who would be selling tickets at this pace would be MJ, if they sold tickets digitally like 20 years ago.

I agree. This tour is a mess. It could have definitely challenged Madonna.

If she did 100 stadium shows instead (which she obviously could've done looking back at it), she could have had the 2nd biggest grossing tour of all time, only trailing U2's 360 tour and maybe Rolling Stones a bigger bang tour.

Nnnn the Wembley shows' sales will be a mess. WWIII incoming.
