no. I work in a Casino. I´m ok with it.
The worst thing is that since last year we have a new president, he is a xenophobic, homophobe businessman. He only cares for rich people, banks, and my country is a mess now. Plus: I pay more taxes than ever. It´s like Trump but he is pro-establishment, and the media is by his side.
I just got into college and don't have a job atm. I probably will do a part-time next semester. There's a coffee house near my college that I regularly hang out in and I'm planning to apply there as a barista. They pay pretty nicely for a job that doesn't require too much. The place is nice and not so crowded too. Perfect.
I don't hate it but don't love it. I work in retail at the moment, and the only thing that keeps me going is the fact I'm going back to University next year to finish my studies (on a gap year). My work friends are nice but sometimes the public can be so awful i.e blaming stuff on you that are out of your control (prices, stock etc).
Don't let it get you down! I've tried callcenter work and lasted like 4 weeks . It's worse than retail in a way because people are more confident over the phone so they're likely to be more aggressive and awkward.

HATE it when I tell a customer the price of an item and they roll their eyes and get at me. I just nod and smile.
