I work at a travel agency for 2 months now and...
First off, the entire damn team is on my case criticizing me for every damn thing while other interns who handle things the same way as I do don't get ****. I'm tired of it. Starting to think it's just racisme racisme racisme.
Still haven't received my salary either?
Basically every day is a drag, the only thing that keeps me motivated to go is the thought that I'll be done in 3 months.

Somewhat. But it's well-paid and is suitable for student so I cannot complain

Eh, working in retail isn't exactly the dream job. But my pay is decent and it keeps me busy.
You might wanna contact Human Resources about your pay though?

I contacted my manager, and she told me some weird half baked story. Apparently I get my salary from the previous month the month after, idk it makes zero sense. Like, I already get paid diddly squat, at least have the decency to rightfully pay me every month.

I make a lot of money with like minimum effort so no I don't.

It's so annoying.
They expect you to turn up on time, give your contracted hours etc but the second you want something back from them (aka your PAY), there's excuses and confusions.

I'm a teaching artist. I absolutely love my job and love the students I work with but I'm trying to find a way to leave next year, the pay will not be great anymore to hold me down after I graduate.

I work as a server in a restaurant while in college
There are moments when I hate it so much and want to leave, but I get myself together and walk off with good money after every evening.
The problem is that it's risky money-wise. You can get a ****** party of 20 people who leave nothing, while their tips is everything you earn
It happened to me once, when I got a big party of youngsters right before closing time, and they left me nothing. It was traumatizing

Worst part is that they don't even have a positive thing to say about you after working your ass off. The opposite actually. I'm just so tired of it.

I quit working at this restaurant in Beverly Hills because the managers were useless and barely knew as much as the hourly employees. The GM barely spoke to you unless he was going to say something snarky and they'd cut you're ass if the restaurant was slow. It was terrible and thank god I only worked there for two weeks as a training employee so I got away with a lot of things.
