- Hard Candy debuted at number one in 37 countries worldwide: Australia, Austria, Belgium (Flanders + Wallonia), Brazil (international), Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Denmark, Greece, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan (overall + international), Mexico (international), Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.
- It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with over 280,000 copies sold. Hard Candy became her seventh number one album, making her the female artist with the second most number one albums, behind only Barbra Streisand.
- Hard Candy also debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart, where Madonna joined a select group of artists to achieve ten number one albums.

4 Minutes umm... I've never felt that song. I was like " " when i first heard it.
Now i think it's "decent"... a powerful single. But it's far from being a classic for her.
And the Sticky & Sweet performance sucks, badly.

Anywayz, I love 'Hard Candy', is much, muuuuch better than 'Confessions' and is my 3rd favourite Madonna album! Sadly, Madge didn't choose the right songs to be singles after the 1st.

Totally agree.
Devil Wouldn't Recognize You and Beat Goes On would have been great singles. At least more memorables than Miles Away and Give It 2 Me.
