No, she puts it on Tidal with no announcement of when it will be available for purchase. (Meanwhile Lemonade, Becky with the good hair, hold up are going viral) She eventually puts Lem on sale a few days later...Sorry is overexposed while she has...

...To keep it afloat, fine. She performs Daddys Lessons on the CMAs, overexposed yet again...she links a free download on SoundCloud...then puts it on sale and for the first time this ENTIRE era puts it on all streaming platforms.

I truly believe she specifically made it known to Parkwood/Columbia that she is not promoting by using typical tactics. What happens is staff members at all levels at Columbia look around a week later and see what they can do as a company to benefit from whatever is trending Beyonce. They have their legal team sift through the agreements, and hit upload hoping not make Bey too mad and while also making some late n stale coins. If it were up to Bey, there wld bey nothing outside her album release.

people who won't buy 17.99 album no matter who they are.
people who move on to streaming completely, don't buy albums anymore.
people who want listen to singles or songs before buy.
those are casual listeners with big potentials. not just album sales
but also for her tour, merchandise, ivy park, anything she does.

her restricted release damaging her popularity and brand.

Hey Hive, I know I'm really hated in this base and forum, but I just wanna say I kinda missed posting here. I'm out of the loop with a lot of things about Beyoncé but I'm truly hoping that this isn't the end of Lemonade yet. Are there rumors of a re-release yet? That remix of "Daddy Lessons" is insanely lovely.

Would it still be possible for her to go back to her old release cycle and strategy? I blame the press for sh**ting on her during the 4 era. That whole issue with Blue probably convinced her to stay away. It was the last straw.

From someone who has worked with/for her. Further proof that musically "4" was a conscious decision to be anti-EDM in 2011. Also how she actively seeks up and coming R&B writers to give them a shot in an industry that pays them dust, because even her rejected demos are enough to get them major deals.
