I'm just completely disappointed that this black man, raised by a conscious, educated black woman has just up and abandoned everything he has built as a public figure platform upon -- this week we've sat and listened to the same man that spent years riding for our community and bringing issues to light within brilliant music. Seriously? How am I sitting here watching the man that made New Slaves seriously sit up and support Donald Trump and tell his own hurting, struggling people that racism is something that we should just brush off? Like, I'm so done with him; who even cares about the dumb Bey/Jay mess that's been brewing with him, this goes so far beyond him just talking out of his ass about friends he feels slighted by. For years he's ranted and talked out of his ass and gotten himself in hot water, but it was about him taking stands for things I believed he legitimately believed in and saying things that needed to be said. Bush did NOT care about black people and what he and his administration allowed to happen to poor black people in New Orleans was an absolute atrocity. He is completely spitting on all of that now and for what? I don't understand what's happening with him, but I can't support this **** at all.
