I can see Bey, Katy and Miley doing a track or two about it but that's about it, I don't see any pop girl coming with an American Life esque album

I think an artist should be able to speak up should they want to, but they shouldn't be required to.

Anyway, I do definitely think Miley and Madonna would say something. Would be interesting if they did it together.

I feel like there is probably too many people in suits telling them not to do anything that'll impact negatively on sales or their image. Its a sad fact, but the music industry is more commercialised now. Artists aren't as risky..

Beyonce has shown she isn't scared to be politically motivated (Lip-singing for Obama, stanning Clinton and obv Lemonade spoke a lot about culture), and Gaga might as well. Not sure about the others though.
