I chose the wrong subjects for Sixth Form. I want to do Economics now, but I'd have to replace History with it, and it's been two months and I'd have loads to catch up on. Also, I'm doing Maths Studies instead of Maths Standard, so I'd find it harder than the rest of them.
change it.
Just tell the teachers that you have some knowledge on economics and catch up
and how did it take you two months to realise you chose the wrong subject
Girl you are having a midlife crisis and you're in sixth form? If anything you are at the right point to change your direction right NOW. It's better if you've realised this now rather than 5 years down the line, because you can actually do something about it. You're still young. So just make the change happen.
idk if this is relevant but halfway through year 11 i realised i hated economics so much, and i switched it with business studies. It was stressful trying to catch up half a year's work but I'm glad i did it.

Which year are you in? If you're in Year 13, it'll be harder to change. But if you're in Year 12, I'd stick till Christmas and see how you feel after that. Worse comes to worst, you can drop Economics and then take History up as an AS level and not do the A2 for it.
it's kind of the equivalent of grades 11 to 12 in the USA
anyway idk what to say asides from gl boo
Oh wtf.
Man, you have so much time it's not even funny. No one knows what they want to do at 18 lol. You probably won't get an idea until you're 20. I'm 21 and I still don't have a complete set path.
Do it.
Economics AS is super easy at the start (and the end tbh ), you'll catch up with those 2 months in no time.
You don't need maths skills beyond like, a B in GCSE to cope with Econ.
There's barely any math, and when there is, it's just simple calculator stuff.

Year 12, and if it makes a difference I'm doing IB instead of A-Levels so it's harder bc there are different levels. I don't exactly hate History but it doesn't inspire me, there's too much work, and my teachers are useless.
I think I'm gonna change it on Monday, pray for me girls.
