It's pretty obvious at this point that no single candidate is capable of making more than half the country happy. Extremely blue states like California and New York don't have their needs met and morals satisfied under Trump just as Alabama and Mississippi deeply detested Trump. Would it be a good idea for the United States to split into several smaller countries where each region could vote for their own interests?
No, we're one united country.
Until someone wants to abolish electoral college, that is.
In that case, we're suddenly a bunch of states that must be heard.
No we need to stay together not divide ourselves. We are stronger as one unit rather than broken up. American is like a huge family, it's not a good idea for any state to separate tbh

Frankly, the Northeast and West Coast regions would probably be better off as independent countries, but the Civil War proved what happens when states try to leave....
