Cancer. At least there's daily treatment to being positive. You can live a full life while being sufficently healthy and positive.

but you have a higher chance of getting cancer being positive though unfortunately, also we are so close to curing HIV tbh and can't say the same for cancer

Definitely cancer. Not just developing the disease but invasive treatments like chemotherapy. Tbh I'd rather end up dead than go through all that.

Both scare me a lot, i'm not good when i'm sick, and i wouldn't want to feel like a burden to friends or family

Cancer sounds more frightening in this day and age.
HIV, while incurable, is manageable.
