A Bollywood actress has been tear gassed and beaten up by three masked intruders while staying at her apartment in Paris, police have revealed.
Mallika Sherawat, 40, had just arrived at her residential building in the upmarket 16th arrondissement in Paris last Friday when the attack happened.
It comes just a month after Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a neighbouring flat.
According to local reports, the criminals covered their faces with scarves and ‘without saying a word, sprayed their victims with tear gas before punching them.’
The attackers then fled the scene, leaving the international model and her friend in shock.
Police say the pair suffered minor injuries in the attack.
