You cannot "defeat" an entire religion, much less a global religion practiced by 1.6 billion people, without subjecting the world under a totalitarian and imperialistic rule. Even the Chinese government, with its strict antireligion policy and state-sponsored violent persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, still didn't manage to completely eradicate that religion from its society.
