I like the idea...strong, elegant, poised, and will represent America with dignity. I just don't know if Nikki Haley and Donald Trump would mesh well personality wise + its a gamble on Haley's political career should the Trump presidency crater.

What do y'all think...should Haley accept if offord, or decline to wait on her future political career prospects?

I'm not a fan of any republican but Haley would be a good, sane choice compared to someone like Giuliani... Especially when it comes to international relations, we need someone to give reassurance to the world

How she handled the Charleston Church Shootings, Her support to remove the Confederate Flag from the State House grounds after the shootings, and her proactive responses to Hurricanes Joaquin, and Matthew.

Least Haley proved she can handle, and respond to a crisis effectively...a prerequisite for Secy of State.

I just don't know how being so attached to a wildcard Trump administration would affect her potential presidential ambitions for 2020 or 2024.

Haley has traveled abroad to various countries on behalf of bringing jobs to the State of South Carolina...in terms of Middle East experience your guess is as good as mine.

I very much doubt it. Being in charge of one of the smallest population-wise and least urbanized states in the Union to being SOS is quite a jump.

And about that, I think any governor would've acted the same way she did. In fact, she should have supported the take down of the flag earlier, it took a tragedy to remove that hate symbol.

I wish Vincent Sheheen was our governor.
