I don't think millennial gays remember what the Bush Jr era was like. It wasn't "cool" to be gay until 2008. We couldn't marry, we couldn't even be openly gay in the military. Even so much as suspicion of homosexuality could throw your entire military career away.

There was no reason to vote Republican this election. You can't even use "we want jobs!' as an excuse. It's been proven time and again the Republican economic policies harm economic growth, job creation and actually cause them both to decline. So we are not only going to risk losing our civil liberties but our jobs as well. At the very least it'll be harder to find better ones because the money just won't be there.

I hope it was worth it to all who voted Trump just because an old woman made a mistake with her email address.
