also when I was 20 the love of my life(literally) proposed to me, but I said no because I wasn't ready. It turned into a mess afterwards and obviously the relationship ended really horribly
Yes. I went out with this Belgian guy 7 years older than me. Very wealthy, but also a very nice guy. Still, so awkward! After a few times he'd come to Milan, he told me that he had all the intentions to marry me and that I could move to Belgium with him. He also holds a noble title in Italy through his family so I'd become a noble too. I think he thought I was poor or something, so I just laughed at him thinking he wasn't serious. He was, so the thing got really awkward. I told him bye and went to the wellness center to relax a bit.
Yes and I accepted. I ended up breaking off the engagement months later and it would have been one of the biggest mistakes of my life if I'd married him. I was too young, he was older with serious control issues/jealously and I feel like he wanted me for all the wrong reasons. We were just in completely different spaces in life and not really compatible beyond intense physical attraction.
I use one of my mom's old rings and got in so much trouble
