Thats what happened here after the fall of communism. After thousands of years of Muslim oppression christianity became synonymous with nationality here. We became very dependent on it. Once communism fell, people snapped back into their religious ways like it was nothing

Music is a completely separate entity from its author. Much like how religion in itself is separate from people that practice it. You can criticize the music while loving the artist or criticize the artist while you love the music. My fave is a bible thumper from the south but it never really bothered me. I actually think Gospel music sounds great and I bop to it too.
