Not just for gay men, but for everyone who's a legal adult. I think the best way to fight STDs (other than a condom) and more specific HIV/AIDS is to require everyone to know there status and get tested at minimum once a year.
It was free at my local health clinic. Praying for wherever you live.
It actually costs more than a regular blood test. I usually go to a private clinic to avoid the public hospital's infinite queues, but it's not like I would spare much money if I went to the hospital.
It's also not ethical to go around having casual sex and not getting tested....the comment was very comical, actually. I suppose it's a matter of opinion but don't get me started.

But your comment makes it seem like everyone has casual sex, which just isnt the case, so I find your comment very comical actually.
No. Shouldnt have to be a law for someone to be responsible. If you're out having lots of sex you should be getting tested regularly for your own health. People always talk about they didn't have any symptoms and ****. Like bye. Your DICK had to be on fire in order for you to want to get tested when you know you've smashed 6 people in the pst month? ; people are a mess
mandatory no, encouraged yes and really what would it solve? those who refuse to ever get tested are the same type of people who would lie about their std status anyways
Absolutely not. If the government introduced such a bill, I wouldn't be sure if I still live in a democracy or a totalitarian state. My health is my, and my sexual partners' problem. Of course, it should be encouraged and people should be reminded of it but never mandatory.
My doc makes me get tested every year at my physical. But you realize there are a ton of people who never go to the doctor? The only way this will even be remotely possible is if they make over-the-counter tests easily available/cheap.
