Mess absolute mess, no. The first time I come into this Charli base and this is what I find?

Sucker MIGHT be more cohesive but I'm not even sure of that. True Romance had an overarching theme of love and heartbreak on every song, and a general sound for the album is there. It's got that kind of "dark" atmospheric retro electropop vibe. Sucker has Boom Clap on it which in itself throws cohesiveness out the window.

Regardless of what you consider "cohesive", I think True Romance is a much better album.

boom clap doesn't really change anything lol, it fits the vibe of that entire album also sucker has like 2 fillers while true romance has a lot. also true romance is too tumblry & obviously is pandering to that crowd too much, sucker has so much attitude/character/personality like that aspect alone puts sucker on a much higher scale than true romance

Wires is SPECTACULAR My other faves would NEVER.

Really enjoying Sucker atm, its such a fun album. Breaking Up and Hanging Around are anthems.

Reflecting & I See Your Heart Start to Break are both amazing and should be on her next album tbh. Even at least as deluxe tracks
