And as far as that boy, I'll never advocate for forcing touch. Challenging body autonomy, irrespective of the reason, doesn't make sense and flies in the face of freedom of expression. 
That said, private entities aren't obligated to uphold that right to speech or expression and can, at their discretion, fire you/kick you out for hateful speech or non-participation in an activity they deem necessary. Government should never step over that line though.

Just on the last 3 pages I brought up veganism, circumsision, gays in muslim faith, Epic Rap Battle involving Darwin, discussions about gender. You can't pick a topic and yell at people for not talking about it. I felt like talking about these things so I started the conversation. How many times do I have to say that I welcome discussion and if you want to pick a topic on how people use religion to justify their bigotted attitude then nobody here will tell you that "well that religion has mostly white followers so it's ok". Bring it up and let's talk about it. I can't say that I know what happens in Israel, but I do remember having a discussion on how the media seemed to be ignoring all the violence going on there and that can be why. Bring it up if you care so much and we will engage

I used to think that maybe Trump was doing it for show but the fact that he is choosing people like this it really bothers me. The seperation of Church and state in US better hold up these 4 years

I just can't understand people around me. Like, I'm almost certain that most people know that I'm an atheist and they don't seem to care that much (well not to the extent to show me how they feel about it) but if I even give a slight hint that I'm gay they would go ballistic (and I came out to my mother which she...... Lets just say it didnt go well)

It might be they don't think you're a real atheist. Like I told my friends (To whom I haven't come out yet) that I'm an atheist and they were like no, you're joking. They refused to take me seriously

Carson was one of Trump's early endorsers, he campaigned for him and supported him way before he snatched the nomination. He would have been paid dust otheriwse.
But yeah, I agree, Carson needs to stay out of anything government-related.

Christians are indeed harassing LGBT in many parts of the world and we don't rush to paint with a brush all Christians for the actions of a few, do we? At least not here in America, where most people are not aware Evangelicals exported their fundamentalism to Africa where LGBT are being harassed.

American media sensationalizes everything to such a high degree. More than any other media I am aware of. Wage gapes,rape statistics, police brutality etc. everything is so full of hyperbole you can barely discuss it and be critical of it.
Not sure why some people come in here pretending that this is somehow a Christian thread that is focused on muslims when in reality everyone here hates the negative effects of all religions in the same way. Israel is not an issue here because it reaches far beyond religion and has develeoped very complex historical and geo-political aspects that require a very deep understanding of the different aspects.
I'll freely admit that I know way too little about it to pass judgement but no one here is to protect "white religions" are whatever crazy idea popped into these people's heads.

People confuse gender with the way each individual expresses themselves.
Obviously everyone has a variety of interests, fits some gender roles that are made for their sex and doesn't fit others but that doesn't mean they are a different gender.
Everyone expresses themselves differently but they don't have a different gender.

I mean there are instances of police brutality against LGBT members where I live, thanks in large to our church officials endorsing such behavior. Why do you guys assume that I love or am forgiving towards it. If anything it's my hatred towards it that probably first pushed me towards atheism and then logic and science finished the job.

I thought about that too (that they think I'm not really an atheist/its just a "phase") but its still weird especially when even saying anything that contradicts religious beliefs they would atleast gossip about it or w.e
But either way I'm getting out of this town (or even country) to at least stay in a more progressive place (if things turn out well, that is) so I thinl I shouldn't worry myself that much about it anyways

I only surround myself with friends (+ boyfriend) who think exactly like me. It might be unhealthy for the future but it makes life easier now.

Most of my friends were very liberal throughout school, then they did what all cool kids do here. They started going to church and that turned them into homophobes. I have a very small circle of friends cuz of that now. Those dam priests

Actually with all the stuff going on with Europe and the US in relation to Islam, I started thinking how the **** do muslims (which make the vast majority of the community I live in) expect me/lgbt community to respect Islam and its teachings and their figures in it (like the first caliphs), and same thing for Christianity and most religions.
Like, REALLY? You guys are the ones who spent the last few thousands of years to this day opressing my community (hell, one the first caliphs who most muslims ****ing almost worship him burned gay people ALIVE as a "punishment") and you want me to "respect you beliefs"? How about N TO THE ****ING O, your beliefs can be blasted to oblivion for all I care. Thankfully most people aren't religions nuts but its still crazy that most of these people would support religious nuts and get them to control. They are just too ****ing much and this post doesn't even describe fully how I feel and think about it, since it would take me forever until I finish

And then it was explained to them examples of how Muslim women face violent racial hate, from being physically assaulted to literally thrown on train tracks, often in the US, their ass suddenly went GHOST and let the topic move along without ever recognizing their ******** was clocked, dragged, and exposed, like the typical racist they are.
