The issue is that many Americans do not realize that state politics matter just as much as national ones. They expect change, while continuing to elect officials on the state level that operate against their interests by not even participating.
If more of the left voted for representation then the USA would not have advanced so slowly. Liberals + moderates outnumber conservatives in the USA, yet now all of your branches are about to be conservative. Now it's going to regress.
