Discussion: Is Kim K white?

So, I keep seeing people say Kim K (and the other Kardashian siblings) are white. "Racist culture vulture white woman" this, "white privilege" that, etc. But considering her father is Armenian (mind you, no white European or North American would look at Armenians or Armenian culture/language/customs/etc and consider them "white"), this leads me to question if they are in fact, white. Some of the people that say this justify it b/c "Armenians are Caucasians, so therefore they must be white", which is a completely flawed argument considering if that were true, everyone from Indians, to Arabs, to Persians, etc would have to be considered "white" too.

Armenians are from the Caucasus. Caucasians are literally white.

That settles it. People from India, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, etc must be white too. Thank god, now I don't have to worry about racism effecting me.

Well technically, yes they are 'white' if you subscribe to the fact that 'white' is synonymous with 'Caucasian'

And it doesn't matter if she's Caucasian...I'm sorry lol. You don't look at Kim Kardashian and say "Oh look at that white girl"
Taylor Swift and Britney Spears are white, not Kim K!

She is 'Caucasian.' But 'white' in the US is a term that historically has changed meaning. Before it was used only for Northern Europeans, then for all Europeans, and now some definitions include even Middle Easterners and (some) Latinos.

Armenians look white though from what I've seen. Most Arabs and Indians are darker.

They are not from the Caucus mountains. Also I'm going by a social aspect of race, since scientifically it doesn't exist, nor does science use race.
Plus your map is the map used by eugenics. The same people who divided people based on pseudo-science used by Nazi's to justify hate against Jews and others they deemed undesirable. Nazi's actually use this stuff to justify their racism using "science" to legitimize it. Which is why countries today don't use that metric.

She's Caucasian but people are a bit iffy when it comes to calling people 'white'. There are people who ask if Turkish people are considered white
