first one tipps and sometimes you meet great people(for a nice conversation/bar/cafe), a lot of over-work is a giant minus for a student
a seller definitely has less stress and fixed working time
Retail and waitering are both ****** side jobs Out of the two I guess would go with retail but only at a good store.
If you have to get a side job and you don't mind bodily fluids, try and get in as a locum support worker at a hospital. There's more money in it and you get to choose when you work. I earn around $270 a shift over the weekend periods and a lot more on holidays.
Retail associates dont get tips and retail jobs can go slower.. waiters make the fast cash and the job goes faster but its exhausting and you have to deal with rude/ungrateful people... i could never be a waiter.. im a barista right now and i hate serving people
I'm a server at a really busy restaurant & I average about 150 A day. Sometimes over 200 on a really really busy day. The highest amount of tips I've ever left with on a good day was about 320. So, Yeah ! This job has given me the freedom to do so much at my age. All while still going to college.

How do you make THAT much?
Does your place have expensive prices?
My goal is $100 per night
