I understand why Melania doesn't want to take her son out of his elite private school especially when the travel to and from DC/NY is not 10+ hours.

They're constantly working with everyone else in the White House, at all hours of the day. Where will he be when there's a crisis? Hours away in New York? You think it's okay for our commander in chief to Skype into urgent military meetings just because he didn't want to leave his tower?
