I didn't get to sleep at all the previous Monday. I was extremely groggy at work. My workmate noticed me falling asleep on my desk, then out of the blue, bit my arm really hard to "wake [me] up." He left a huge bite mark with saliva, however, it did not bleed.
Should I be worried? I don't know if he has HIV. The whole thing was so random. I'm reading WebMD right now and under HIV symptoms, it says "nausea, sore throat and cough," which I have. It's worth noting that I got them before the incident even happened because everyone at work seems to have the flu. Still, I'm a bit scared.
The reason I asked is:
"Transmission by biting is extremely rare, but a handful of cases have been attributed to this activity."

"The potential risk of HIV-1 infection following human bite although epidemiologically insignificant, but it is biologically possible."
