Never forget the victims of these attacks,
never forget their surffering,
never forget the people who were at the Balactan and lost their loved ones and the ones who were finding a path to survival
Never forget.
Main Question: Where were you or what were you doing on that day that led to your reaction of the news?
Can't believe it has been a whole year - prayers to the families and friends to remain strong.
I remember finding out about it through here and then watched the rest on the news for quite a while, not knowing when things would end.
I live in the South East of France, and it really affected me. I actually hadn't heard about it on the same day but I learned it from a friend, switched th TV on, and saw the horror. I thought it was a nightmare and it would be gone if I woke up, but it was very real. So sad.
RIP lost lives and hope the families are managing with this tough day.
I was at a comedy club. I was excited to go home, to sleep and go to the secret Adele listening party of 25. On my way back home I read that 2 people were killed, little did I know what would happen later. Adele canceled the listening party WW and I was just sad and depressed of everything (mainly because of innocent people being killed). RIP everyone
RIP
I remember planning to go out not too far from this area but that day I worked all day (job 1 in the morning, job 2 in the afternoon/evening) so i went home. My mother who was out of the country, called me. She was hysterical, because i do a lot of concerts, I didn't know it as that serious until i saw the news
The atmosphere afterwards was terrible and scary
I'll never forget the feeling. I was leaving Paris as I just finished an exam and learning about all of this on the train on my way back home was the worst.
The atmosphere got really weird and cold for a good few weeks after that, especially in the metro. I went to La Place de la République and cried when I saw all the candles and the drawings for children etc. Thankfully life continued, people are still going to cafés and concerts.
They just can't win, and never will.
