Trump is many things but he has never said anything homophobic, that is true, but you really do need to realize the distinction between personal viewpoints and professional ones.

What he personally believes in is irrelevant. His administration is anti-LGBT between his VP, Supreme Court nominees, and cabinet members. That's all that matters.

Case in point, Reagan had many gay friends and actually voted against some anti-LGBT measures before he was elected but he his presidency was still one of the worst things to happen to LGBT people in the USA. Look up the HIV crisis.
