Trump already explained he will lower the $50 billion a year trade deficit with Mexico. So in essence that is how they are going to "pay" for it.
That's not making Mexico pay for it. That is a trade deficit. That is not real dollars. You are trying to rationalize what he said he would do when in fact he had no way to do it.
