Souza's 'Year in Photos' albums covering Obama in the White House go back to 2009, and it's believed he has snapped approximately two million photographs of the president
The photographer has said: 'There's a certain daily grind to my job, but I'd say, once, twice, three, four, ten times a week, you realize that you are an eyewitness to history'
Whew, these made me so teary. What a remarkable man and incredible journey; regardless of the politics, this man and his family are amazing representations of all that our country is supposed to be for everyone. I am glad I was able to witness these pages in our collective history book first-hand.
