first of all streaming is inflienced by spotify playlists which she doesn't have but that's not the point
why the hell are you comparing her with artist on the peak of their careers with the huge hype. Any **** drake released would have smashed cause she actually has hype and people talk about it, just like they used to about gaga when she was on the peak of her career. She hit a bottom with artpop and now people won't magically come back and feel hyped, she needs to promote the hell out of it to get the attention again
Chainsmokers had two consecutive hits before closer and each was bigger than the other, building the hype and exposure, which lead to closer smashing...
By your logic anything that's not smashing is bad music
