My family is going to have a civil war at thanksgiving dinner because 1/2 voted for she and he. Im literally going to bring pepper spray with me that day because it might get violent between them all. These people are so passionate about politics they risk our family values over an election.

That's why I'm so glad in France the election is always far apart from Christmas

We don't talk politics much for Thanksgiving or Christmas but we probably will since Trump won

I'm not going home for Thanksgiving, thank god. Over half my family are avid Trump supporters (especially my dad's side) and I want to fight them all.

I am going to listen to music all day when he comes over, I refuse to hear his bs about Hillary.

My entire extended family is democratic, including my mother's side, full of judges/partners/attorneys &etc.

So no fighting at mine thankfully, just agreement of the sad state that occurred 3 days ago.

The racist relatives aren't even invited though, but if one or two end up somehow showing up...

That's sad to hear, I too fear about Thanksgiving with my family. I might just try to keep the youngsters with us at the same room at all time. They wouldn't dare to fight or curse others while children are watching.
