I'm not going to list every other major US city that would unfairly benefit from not having an electoral college...that was just an easy to understand example.

As vast majority of liberals live in those cities...even Dallas, Texas is more liberal than the rest of Texas. The electoral college keeps the balance of power in check. It gives voice to all of the people located in the rural states, it works beautifully...had Clinton won, my opinion would be no different.
