- She spent the last few weeks attacking Trump on character issues. People who cared about the tape were already voting for her. They weren't swing votes. Trump talked about the economy
- Tim Kaine was a bad VP choice. She needed a progressive VP to stop 3rd party votes

OP: She was overconfident and uninspiring I think. The lack of press conferences, no campaigning in WI... it showed up in the end.

Towards the end of the campaign she was using all her dream-team of surrogates to attack Trump. The only thing Hillary had on her side that could inspire people were being the first woman POTUS. But even that didn't help.

There was just very little excitement about her, and that showed. She'll manage to get -5 million votes than Obama in 2012, who himself was pretty unpopular and a lot of people didn't have much faith in him at the time.

Yes, i truly believe that she had the best intentions for our country.. she always had this motherly demeanor to me.. she appeared to be kind, warm, and understanding, someone trustworthy and focused on the greater good. People hate her, and its their opinion, but i see a genuinely good person in her.. i dont believe half of the hate spewed about her.

The American people absolutely did her wrong - she got an inordinate amount of hate for her actions and you still have people thinking she's a witch who should rot in jail. At the end of the day, she's still a woman who deeply cares about the country.

That being said, I now completely understand why she lost. I don't know if it was her hubris, the DNC, or her aides, but they developed a losing strategy.

Yes we did. Part of it was her campaign's fault for making her look terrible. But it is also our fault for not rallying support behind her after we realized what was at stake. Instead of telling everyone she's the lesser of two evils and expecting them to take us on our word, we should have been educating the masses on why she really was the better choice. We should have been educating all of the Bernie supporters on why it was important for them to vote for her and not go third party out of spite. We should have tried to help her as much as possible as soon as Trump got the republican nomination.

Instead we all sat around and allowed ourselves and the rest of the country to continue thinking that she was disposable and that she was "just as bad as Trump". We are partly to blame for her loss and now we're paying for it.
