I honestly don't see the whole Electoral College fight thing. I understand and support it but that's like me betting on the lottery. Especially when Hillary already conceded and Obama is going toward with transitioning (and Trump may potentially win the popular vote in the end since it's in 100% yet)

Mess. I feel like Trump truly wants unity. These protests need to end and we need to get on with this administration.

I have faith that Trump's meeting with Obama was one of the best things to ever happen to Trump. He seems very open to listening to Obama, etc., creating positive relationships, and learning more about the true issues facing this country. We can only hope that Obama made it clear to Trump that some of the biggest things he's accomplished (marriage equality in particular) should not be reversed, and that Trump understands that and leaves it be.

I truly have faith that things are headed in a very positive direction so far.

Me too and I'm shocked I'm having a civil conversation about this on facebook with someone. It's bad on both sides but no doubt, I've heard more hate and hateful actions going on from Trump SUPPORTERS. He has really ignited in people that it's okay to be racist and express it.. and while he does have xenophobic rhetoric, I think his supporters have twisted his words. I've read people of ripping women's hijabs off, seen racist vandalism... just bullying which is what Trump has been practically condoning this entire election season. I am scared for the future

You do realize that our ability to protest stops us from being a dictatorship, right? Trump whining about protests on Twitter is not a good look for unity and his ability to lead.

I don't think Trump wants to be president. He did it for attention and he was too competitive to be beat by anyone, especially a woman at the general election because it felt embarrassing to him, so he kept going. Now that he's won, I don't think he knows what to do.

She likely wouldn't win, but she certainly would get more success than to keep running third party. You have to change the system from within. Democrat leaders will attack her so much for not being a real Democrat. If you think Bernie had it bad, Jill will get it much worse. Rightfully so, she ran against Democrats twice in national elections. Bernie or Elizabeth Warren are more likely for 2020, or some random, young progressive dark horse.
