It wouldn't surprise me if he gets bored after 4 years after realising how tough and demanding it is and says someone else can carry on his legacy tbh.
Particularly if his approval ratings are bad/he isn't getting anything done/The Dems have an awesome candidate lined up.

Either he delivers on all his promises or he doesn't deliver and his support evaporates for 2020. Either way the democrats have a huge chance with a more likeable candidate - Trump's favorability ratings are still very low.
But truthfully Trump is the only thing standing in the way of President Mike Pence, we need him to make it to 2020
Trump will either be a complete disaster with a quick little presidency... or the next Reagan for the Republicans. My instinct says quick little presidency but based off of the fact that he always proves me wrong... we could be in for a different Reagan like story.
I honestly feel like Trump is going to lose it and resign. He doesn't know what he got himself into. Did you see Melania's face yesterday? She looked scared AF. Like she didn't think it was possible and now she has the responsibility of being first lady.
They won't last, trust me.
We'll have Pence who is worse but at least he has political background so he knows a thing or two about being in charge of office but he needs to be put down if that happens.
Trump choosing Pence was what made me skeptical of him.
Even though Trump is more moderate on some social issues, Pence is clearly a homophobic fundamentalist who would be terrible for the LGBT community. With a GOP Senate and House his anti-gay proposals would be easily passed.
