Being able to engage in peaceful protest is kinda a big part of of democracy/free speech. The whole "praising democracy til it doesn't go your way" can be said for anyone, not just people complaining about Trump. Also, the popular vote went to Hillary.

Exactly, this election was fair and Hillary can always ask for a recount in the close states but so far has chosen not to. These students are immature people who need to accept the result and move on with their lives.

this tbh, at least wait until Trump makes a move and then protest. It seems to me he's just a big troll who now doesn't know what to do cause he didn't expect to win
this statement gives me honestly hope that maybe, just maybe he's not an idiot as he made himself to be during this campaign
