It's getting annoying. He WOULD NOT have won. People overestimate his support, he was popular but he only had a small chunk of the electorate. There's no way it would've been enough for him to win. People need to LET IT GO.
He would have gained with media coverage. If Bernie was in the race, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein wouldn't even be a factor.
Yeah this **** is exactly what's been happening in the UK since Brexit. Foreign people are being physically assaulted on a regular basis here and people just think it's okay to do that now.
I'm saying that I believe Samders would've performed worse with women.
It's likely he would've performed better with young voters and independents though (the same independents whose 3rd party votes more or less cost Hillary the election in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania)
The thing about the rust belt/coal regions is that a lot of voters there aren't actually conservative. They're not necessarily natural Republican voters. They just want someone who promises to make life better for them in a world where they feel they've been left behind. That's why they went for Obama against establishment Republican candidates and it's why they went for Trump now.
It's a shame because Republicans in Congress are not going to make life better for them when their entire ideology revolves around not interfering in people's lives.
We're seeing it not only in America, but around the world. Working class voters are giving up on traditional left-wing parties in favour of the right. Meanwhile cities are getting evermore left-wing, making the whole movement come off as metropolitan and elitist.
the Obsessed Bernie Haters in here are doing the most as usual but he really resonated with working class voters and the democratic base, two groups that hillary could never fully win to her side
if bernie had secured the nomination or if he had been hillary's VP, we would not be in this situation. bottom line, cut and dry.
She can't, she is tainted beyond repair, same with Bill.
Overreaction. She won't be holding any public office again but she'll focus on charitable work abroad. That coupled with the way she gracefully handled her loss should boost her favorables. Not that she'll need them anyway.
