Look, I understand much of your anger, and you're scared of the unknown but well...this is how EVERY minority has been feeling since they could think. Its how Black people have had to deal with racism and sexism and misogynoir all their lifes, in every institution they come into contact with and in many of their ocial interactions too.
Its how Women wearers of the Hijab face daily persecution from all sides, daily threats of attacks simply for choosing to wear a headdress universially demonised. Its how other PoC have had to fight to have their voice amplified and heard whereever they go, when hate speech and violence threaten them moreso.
So, please step off your Caucasian Liberal soapbox and realise just what you've done. You're reluctance to mobilise for other causes related to minority people/workers (raising minimum wage for fast food workers; better working conditions for sex workers etc. etc.), claiming that they WILL be handled but not right now...we have bigger things to consider. This is the daily lived experience of MILLIONS of minorities, not Caucasian and ablebodied.
You seek THIS moment to mobilise and want to fight back, because its only now that its dawned on you you're personal civil liberties are threatened. It would be nice if you had done so before!
