Canadian Pop/R&B singer Keshia Chante has revealed a few details on her 3rd album entitled
'The Vendetta' while Ustream-ing for fans a few days ago. The first single is called 'Hang My Jersey Up' and will have a dance themed video she claims, "Im going all the way for the video". She previewed the song as well as another song uptempo entitled "Table Dancin". The album also encludes tracks such as 'Hope You Cry', 'Hush', and 'Whose That?'. She has a great line up of producers and writers and the album is set for a Fall 2010 release.
She also spoke about the
AALIYAH movie. she confirmed to be asked to do the film and hoped on board for it. She said that she realizes she has big shoes to fill and wouldnt attempt to do it unless she was committed to the film and keep Aaliyah's legacy alive. She later said that has spoken to Aaliyah's family and that they felt it was to soon to do the project (its been 9 years.)
She said that it all depends on her family and when they give the green light she will be ready to take on the part.
Although Aaliyah's brother seems a bit mad at the fact that there is a movie in the works tweeting things such as "
Noone can play my sister" ,
There wont be a film unless i direct, i am a film maker"
seems like we'll never get a movie if you ask me =/
