Well, she was receiving a shitload of death threats back in 2014 when the song was first released so she kinda had to just to prevent the same mess from happening again.

Now to me it's not a big deal BUT I know the recitation of the Quran is sacred to Muslims and I can understand people wanting their religious beliefs to be respected and not being put in music.
