I've been binge-watching this Exorcist tv show (and re-watched the original film, which I love) and it has me a bit SHOOK

No, I don't really believe in them, I am terrified by the idea of them (they would be creepy) but I don't think they are real

OT: uh not really. mostly think of them as metaphors for the dark actions of people. The idea of the thin line between angel and demon intrigues me tho. I've seen a couple shows that portray angels as cold and emotionless, so it wouldn't be a stretch to view them as demons tbh.

This fascinates me. Given my Jewish background I've always been fascinated by the concept of Angels and Archangels in the Bible. To think of demons and angels as the same type of beings is kinda scary coz it really changes one's view of both concepts.

And I fully agree with the metaphor aspect of your reply.

In a way. I believe in dark energy, but I really do think most cases of "possession" can be explained by mental illness.

People always insist on believing things that aren't true. They don't like the truth, which is a shame because we're so technically and scientifically advanced that each and every day we're discovering new and interesting facts about the world we live in.

The majority of people aren't paying attention however, living in fantasy with their spiritualist ideologies, ignorant viewpoints and narrowminded experiences of life.
