It won't affect me anyway. I easily have the money to afford it. The people it worst affects will be the poor. That's not a very liberal policy, now, is it?

As for the environment, I couldn't care less. I like heat, I like light, I like energy. The quicker the UK leaves the EU and we can produce our own energy without worrying about environmental regulations, the better

How about we also tax fruit and vegetables depending on the emissions required to transport them across the world via the global aviation industry to get to the country of consumption?

Well thankfully for me, very few people think like you do. Any attempt to introduce a tax like this would damage a political party beyond any hope of success.

Green energy is a load of rubbish; extremely expensive and rarely produces a significant amount of energy. My personal preference would be to build as many nuclear power stations as possible. Incredibly efficient and relatively inexpensive.

The better thing to do would be to make organic fruits and vegetables more accessible...to the point where they're the cheaper option compared to meat and dairy. Obviously this is unrealistic since even the companies behind those products know they can profit heavily off of the growing "health" trend, so they spike their prices.

And I say organic specifically because there are...cheaper...alternatives, but those are probably just as bad for you as meat is with all the chemicals and **** used to make them last longer, and thus be cheaper.
