She has no qualifications. Her candidacy would have as little weight as Donald Trump's.

No. She doesn't even care about politics. Just because she can give a good speech about sexism or obesity doesn't mean she should run. She knows NOTHING about foreign affairs, economic policy etc. This is the problem, people want celebrities to be President rather than actually knowledgeable people.

You make her out to be friggin' Melanie Trump. Time for the receipts.
She's Princeton and Harvard educated. She worked at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, assisting low-income tenants with housing. She has a law license. She worked as an assistant to the mayor of Chicago. Then she became "Executive Director for the Chicago office of Public Allies, a non-profit organization encouraging young people to work on social issues in nonprofit groups and government agencies". In terms of foreign affairs, she served on the board of directors of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
And aside from education, I'd guess being wife to Obama she knows quite a bit about the economics and foreign affairs. I imagine they do, like, y'know - talk to each other, and she probably knows quite a bit about what he wants to do. And I imagine she might, like most people, watch the news or pick up a paper.
She could do with some experience in the Senate and would no doubt need to brush up on things, but lets not pretend she's inexperienced and would have a lack of knowledge on economics or the workings of politics - she'd be much more educated and knowledgeable that the fool of a Republican candidate right now. And, she's also no doubt have a lot of advisers and a team helping her come up to speed.
