Don't care about any of my family (and some I hate including my parents) except for one of my sisters.

Do I love my parents and my siblings? I don't know. I don't have a feeling of love for them, it's been like that since I was about 12ish, so 12 years now.. And I feel guilty about it. However, they're was never any kind of relationship or bond between my parents and i, which is sad

I wanted to disconnect myself from my parents when I was a teen, but as I moved to Amsterdam and started growing up I realise how much they've done to me and how much love and respect I have for them.
Really my inner circle (parents, brother, boyfriend) is everything that really matters to me.

And yeah random cousins I don't really care about.

Totally agree with the OP.

I cut off for good the relationships with a big part of my relatives and family that only brought negativities and opportunism in my life.

i agree you shouldn't just love someone because their ''family'' . i only like my mother and sister. the rest can disappear forever and i wouldn't miss them at all. but i do think it's important that you have a relationship with at least one of your family members (unless they all mistreat you)

Some of yall sound really bitter. My family is stuck with me whether they like it or not. But if yours is thinking that just because your family your're obligate to do something or love them then cut them off immediately.
