Not bad She did similar numbers with QOTC and it had Habits

The way that she puts her songs together is her strong point because they are literally hook after hook after hook but I am not getting that at all with Lady Wood. Don't get me wrong, I love a few of the songs, but I am just not captured like I was two years ago and like I said, I'm seriously upset about it

Can't force yourself, mate.
Maybe volume II will click better with you, it's not going to take too long to come out anyway.

I can't believe how far it's fallen on UK itunes already! It's at #100+ now, can't remember the exact number but it's sad.

This is one of those albums where you go to listen to one song and then end up playing all your faves I keep listening to Lady Wood but True Disaster always comes on after and I can't stop.

I feel the same kind of. I think this is a really good record, but QOTC is just so much better... there's not one song that gave me the same emotion that Habits, Thousand Miles, This Time Around had.

Ok so like literally every female popstar before her she came back with a sexually charged era all under the guise of "here's my boobs and **** cuz im a feminist!?!" Madonna, Britney, Christina, Gaga, Rih, Miley etc all of them sold sex before her it's nothing new. Is she serious?
It's sad because habits was so refreshing but now she's like everyone else and flopping hard.

Tove is certainly not conventionally sexy and she's taken it a lot farther and blunter than the ones you listed did (maybe except Miley) - I mean the ALBUM NAME is "Lady Wood" for goodness sakes. The album movie includes 3 minutes of her masturbating. Like... Tove's doing her thing, no need to compare her to the lessers.

You just proved my point. She's just another girl parading her body for attention but even more "in your face" for cheap shock value and it's not working. Maybe for young teenage girls that think it's edgy or something. Like a popstar try hard from the 90s.
She could have been so much more but she settled for Miley Cyrus lmao.

She's nothing like Miley. And all mainstream female artists sell sex. What is even the point of complaining about it? She had a smash called Talking Body from her first album ffs. It's not like this is some sudden transformation.
You sound like a prude, no one is forcing you to listen to her so just drop her if you don't like it, whatever.

I find that post silly, no offence, especially since Habits WAS pretty sexual.
She's been very straightforward about her hypersexuality ever since the beggining, literally.
It's definitely part of her as opposed to so many pop stars pulling the "guess what, I'm actually a sl-t lol" move and it screaming forced.

I've heard True Disaster on the radio twice already. Please tell me this means they will release it as the second single! This is the only song on the album I truly love.
