Hillary isn't respected by the masses if we're being completely honest and oddly it was her Secretary of State role that ruined her image and respect that's where the root of her corruption started being alleged. First Lady Clinton and Senator Clinton were nearly a perfect political figure, it's odd in 2008 she was very well liked, 8 years later it's the opposite. Secretary of State didn't do her political careers any good which may be why she really doesn't talk about it

She did at the start. She had to tone herself down, become demure and "nice" like first lady's are meant to. Hillary got attacked because she stayed political, pushed healthcare etc. If she stayed in the background she wouldn't have been attacked.
