light yellow teeth is perfectly natural and is actually stronger than naturally white teeth so I don't understand why dentists are always like "brush your teeth bc white teeth is better! asides from the other benefits"
can someone enlighten me on why people look down upon natural, healthy yellow teeth¿ same for greyish teeth too.
there are many people with naturally yellow or yellowish teeth, people with pearly white teeth usually have weaker teeth than those with naturally coloured ones.

You brush your teeth to prevent cavities, and get rid of plaquea and bacteria. I need more than a paragraph and a half article to prove that yellow teeth are better.
… and before someone comes in here posting pictures of people with gingivitis and severe tooth decay I'm talking about people that brush their teeth on a regular basis, but still have yellow teeth (me for example)

no duh? I was referring to one of the reasons dentists usually give asides from what you just listed.
It's a cosmetic thing. Yellow teeth may be healthy but they don't look it.
I figured it was cosmetic, I properly brush my teeth and I do it on a regular basis (at morning after breakfast at night before bed) but my teeth are not white. I've seen people who've tried bleaching before and their teeth corners are like grey-white and it's so weird
Dude
The article you posted says the yellow is the coloration of dentine as a result of translucent enamel, and the yellow teeth we know is from plaque
I'm not a dentist, but I'm sure that's calculus, not yellow, but healthy, teeth. But then again, the healthy teeth I've seen may not be crystal clear white, but they aren't yellow either, so idk.

And plaque is far from healthy
it can be one or the either actually

The strongest teeth are natural, healthy ones and these teeth are not white. At least, not white like the colour of paper, or even the colour of piano keys. They are a couple of shades darker than that. The enamel itself is a blueish white colour, but it is also somewhat translucent so the yellow of the dentine beneath it shows through to make the overall colour of the teeth either light grey or light yellow.
